Life's In Session™ ~ A 12 Step family board game

"The game which expresses the essence of 12 Step recovery...as you play."™

Life's In Session™ is a unique 2 - 6 player board game that captures the essence of 12 Step recovery and expresses it during the course of play.

I am pleased to make it available to all who are involved in 12 Step recovery.

There are over 200 programs nationwide using AA's 12 Steps with an estimated 35 million people either in recovery themselves, have a loved one in recovery, or know someone in recovery.

I know from my experience that family members and friends of people who attend 12 Step meetings don't always get involved in the recovery process.  As such, they remain in the dark about the many facets of 12 Step recovery and often find themselves wondering what to do or what it is we do there.

The fact is men and women in 12 Step recovery speak a language that is specific to their way of life, referred to as "language of the heart."  Recovery speak can be confusing to a new member or visitor who does not understand this "language."  Our actual participation can be just as confusing and disconcerting.

A communication barrier such as this can be a fatal flaw in an individuals personal recovery, as well as in a family trying to come to terms with the idea of family recovery.

I discovered this fatal flaw in my recovery and while working in various stages of "treatment."  Having identified it, I wondered for years about how to reach these folk with the message of 12 Step recovery.

I wanted to find a way to inform, inspire and motivate folks -- in a safe non-threateding atmosphere -- to get involved in 12 Step recovery.  I was frustrated!  I asked God as I understand Him for help.  As the saying goes, "watch what you pray for, you just might get it!?!"
