We Are ... Step'n Ahead

Step'n Ahead into Emotional Sobriety

Workshop Notes, Outlines and Pictures

AA's around the world have joined in using my workshop notes, outlines and pictures at home in their quest for emotional maturity and balance through step work.  We invite you to do so as well.

I composed these notes from information I uncovered while investigating the work of Dr. Carl Jung, William D. "Silky" Silkworth, MD, Reverend Sam Shoemaker, Dr. Harry Tiebout, Father Ed Dowling, Dr. Harry E. Fosdick, AA co-founders Bill W. & Dr. Bob S., and the history of the Washingtonian movement, the Emmanuel movement and the Oxford Group movement as it relates to their work with alcoholics and the history of AA's first 50 years, all of which can be reconciled in AA conference approved literature and the works (writings) of those aforementioned whose efforts were associated with pioneering AA members.

I created the drawings in an effort to present an x-ray like view of the illness of alcoholism and it's collective "ism" manifestations.

I created outlines to assist in taking Steps 4, 8, 10 & 11 according to directions written in the Big Book and in the Twelve Step essays in AA's approved book Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, and to complete an inventory of old ideas (including ideas about God) and an inventory of regrets.

It was suggested to me that it would simplify things if I would compile the loose-leaf notes, outlines and pictures I use during the Step'n Ahead into Emotional Sobriety workshop and compose them in workbook format.

It was also suggested to me that I should make my workbook available to those who want to use it at home as a guide in their step work, a guide that is compatible with the Big Book, AA's Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, and the AA way of life.

The wisdom of this suggestion was obvious.  I spent over 15 years composing the workbook, completing the home and travel editions Jan 2010.  The home edition is 120 pages 8.5" x 11.0" and the travel edition is 120 pages 5.5" x 8.5."

The 2010 editions of the "We Are ... Step'n Ahead" booklets of workshop notes, outlines and pictures are finished and now available.  To view a sample of the 120 page booklet of workshop notes, outlines and pictures, click on:  Step'n Ahead Notes, Outlines & Pictures ... above column left.
